Foundever.org and Caritas Philippines Launch Pathways Program for Filipino Out-of-School Youth

Foundever.org, the social impact arm of Foundever®, in partnership with Caritas Philippines, has launched the Pathways Program, a 10-month initiative designed to help out-of-school youth transition into employment or further studies, serving as its flagship initiative in the Philippines and reflecting its commitment to creating scalable, outcome-driven pathways to opportunity.

Through Foundever.org, we are committed to expanding access to opportunity and ensuring that talent is not limited by circumstance,” said Olivier Camino, Deputy CEO of Foundever and President of Foundever.org. “The Pathways Program reflects our belief that education, mentorship, and practical skills can create real, lasting change, not only for individuals, but for entire communities.

The program addresses a critical gap between education and employability by equipping learners with practical, industry-aligned skills and structured transition support, ensuring they are prepared not just to graduate, but to move forward.

Education should never be a privilege, but a pathway to opportunity,” shared Willy Lim, Vice President for Human Resources, Marketing & Communications and Talent Acquisition for Foundever in the Philippines, Malaysia and China. “Through Foundever.org, we are taking that responsibility seriously by going beyond financial support and investing our time, expertise and people to help bridge the gap between education and employment. In partnership with Caritas Philippines, we are combining community reach with industry insight to ensure that these young individuals are not only trained, but truly prepared for the realities of today’s workforce, equipped with the skills and confidence to pursue meaningful opportunities across industries.”

The Pathways Program will support 50 participants aged 18 to 30, including Alay Kapwa Community Schooling (AKCS) Grade 12 learners and unemployed graduates. Through a combination of skills training, mentoring, and real-world preparation, participants will build competencies in communication, digital tools, and career readiness, alongside mock interviews and guided application support.

The initiative aims for at least 80% of participants to secure employment or enroll in higher education or accredited training programs, with measurable improvements in professional skills and readiness.

The Pathways Program affirms the mission of Caritas Philippines as the national social action arm of the Church, to uphold human dignity and ensure that no one is excluded from opportunities for growth. In partnership with Foundever, we bring together education and industry to equip our learners with the competencies they need for meaningful transition and a better future,” said Benjamin Custodio, Growth Lead at Caritas Philippines.

The program is funded by Foundever.org, with Foundever in the Philippines contributing industry expertise and trainers, while Caritas Philippines leads community implementation, providing learners, facilities and educators.

Launched in 2023, Foundever.org extends the commitment of Foundever to people beyond its operations, focusing on education, mentoring and digital inclusion to create real pathways to opportunity.
