When a parent has gifted a child with special needs, one of the greatest challenges of everyday life becomes a marathon that seems no finish line. Having a sister and a niece with special needs for me is both a challenge and a blessing. It pushes you beyond patience and boundaries, and at the same time you will feel their joy as they smile at you. And we are indeed aware that their needs are far bigger than ours, so we need to know and find ways on how to take care of these kids and let them experience the best of life- including sports.
Sports activities give children a boost of confidence to be at their best. Run to finish a race becomes a goal so precious for our children with special needs. Because winning does not mean being the first to get the medal, it’s simply means being at their best in achieving a goal.
This year, The Child’s World Family and Friends, invites everyone to support SpeEd unLIMITed, a race for children with special needs.

Each child participant with a special need is allowed an additional race bib and free registration for his/her companion. Just present a PWD or SpED ID upon registration.
