Marking their 4th Financial Independence Month this June, Sun Life Philippines launched different programs and events to help Filipinos in all walks of life break free from the cycle of Financial illiteracy and insecurity.
One of the main events of Sun Life is their new launch of digital films that aims to inspire Filipinos to pursue their financial freedom regardless of age and walks of life. “Sun Shorts” are consists of 3 short films from Sun Life Philippines that highlight different relationships status and stories that make lives #BrighterTogether.
“Waves” is a love story directed by Zig Marasigan that aims to break the mindset of the society towards millennials who are often criticized as selfish, complacent, and careless for the future. It describes two young people who found love and endure it with an overflowing desire to fulfill their future dreams.
A story of two different women in two different perspectives, “She Said, She Said” by Nic Reyes talked about the message of a mother and her daughter on how they see and feel for each other. This also talked about a single mom’s journey on how she gave everything in sacrificial love for the future of her daughter.
And for us to believe in financial freedom for a long run, “Sayaw” by Mihk Vergara talked about the reality of how to cope with a situation of cold long-time marriage and how to revive it when it comes to worst, including health conditions.
Other than the short films, Sun Life Ambassadors Piolo Pascual, Matteo Guidicelli, Judy Ann Santos and Ms. Charo Santos shared their insights and feels about these Sun Short films. The explainer video will also bring some interesting facts on how investments and insurance enable us to protect the relationship that matters to us.
These films are released yesterday at www.sunshorts2.com and uploaded on Facebook too. Speaking of which, you will have a chance to win a trip for 2 to Tokyo, Japan by joining “Tag & Talk 2 Tokyo” promo. To complement the new Sun Shorts films and to give more avenues for Filipino millennials like me to know more about life insurance and mutual funds, Sun Life will hold a series of activities throughout June as part of their 4th Financial Independence Month that will help boost their financial journey to the next step. One of it is the upcoming workshops and for millennials to achieve their travel goals while a pampering activity will be held for moms and dads out there to put them in the best mindset to create future goals.
They also launch PA Armor, a takatack.com exclusive that made affordable for its members to avail persona accident protection for Filipino Online shoppers. It is through the partnership of Sun Life and Voyager Innovations Inc. that makes it possible to keep the consumers safe and secure.
