People of the south, let me talk to you for a while. I know that being in the south has its boring and blunt moments. Malls are very unusual, food places are the same as others, and there are not too many activities that will entertain us outside work and home. No wonder why you usually brave the traffic and hustle, just to visit the clubs and establishments of the north. Well, we don’t need to worry that much nor look further. Because in the south, there’s more than just food place and entertainment that you can find, right within your reach.
Recently, Filinvest City Alabang at the City of Muntinlupa organized a festive fair that’s full of food, Games, Filipino music and good vibes. The Filinvest City “Festival of Possibilities” was the first community fair that’s made for the residents, employees, and visitors of the south to have a different kind celebration on a Friday night without going too far of their vicinity. For 500 pesos (free ticket for employees/residents upon their receipt transactions), people of all ages were able to feel the Friday good vibes with activities, food stalls, pop-up stores and OPM performances.
Despite the rainy weather, youngsters, and youngsters at heart were able to enjoy the activities of the “Mini Arcade” and giant Jenga/snake and ladders/ etc. There’s also mini parlor games and inflatable playground where kids can play in the midst of the rainy day.
To complete the celebration, performances from DJ Wicked Adobo kick-start the rainy event and turned the fields of Filinvest City into a party place. OPM bands Autotelic, Ben & Ben, Franco and Parokya ni Edgar rock the night off with their hit songs and the crowd jamming with them in the midst of the rainy night.
This community fair aims to bring all the people of the south closer and shows their commitment to give strong community bonds, in and out of the vicinity of Filinvest City. For their next activity, they will have their “Endurance Weekend” on July for those sports enthusiast who wants to enjoy and endure the challenge.
