GCash has been a good companion to me for a year already. It help me pay bills, get my load business and even shop effortlessly using (even in times of “petsa-de-peligro” through GCredit). But I know I can do more than just consuming things for myself. I need to find ways to be socially responsible to help my kababayan in times in need.
That’s why GCash introduces GCash for Good. Its corporate social responsibility arm to develop the GCash app into a more socially relevant and sustainable platform that will help address different issues in our society. It’s an ONE APP TOWARDS COMMON GOOD.
With GCash for Good, GCash users can use the GCash app to donate to various groups to create impact to society. And what you need is your mobile phone and generous heart to give whatever amount of cash you want to give. This allows GCash to be a more inclusive and open platform that will create better opportunities for millions of Filipino.
Platform to GIVE MORE
This initiative from Globe Fintech Innovations Inc. (Mynt), with partnership with different NGO’s aims to invite Filipinos to give more and share the advocacy for a better social responsibility and sustainability.
NGO’s for greener world nature like Bantay Kalikasan, Haribon Foundation, World Wildlife Fund for Nature, and Forest Foundation Philippines partnered with “GCash for Good” to develop financial sustainability mechanisms that would strengthen biodiversity conservation efforts for these partner organizations. It also plans to proactively join campaigns that call for a ban on waste imports, deforestation, and waste incineration.
Volunteerism is also welcome. As “GCash for Good” aims to create a community where doing good and giving back is open to all. NGO’s like Caritas Manila, Hero Foundation, ABSCBN Lingkod Kapamilya, and more, any amount you give will create huge opportunities for organizations that forward different issues.
Its time for you to make a change and use your mobile phone to spread generosity in this nation. Download the GCash App and give for the common good.
