This year, LG Electronics collaborate with Netflix to launch an original series that’s worth binge-watching.

“Kingdom” is a Netflix original Korean series that tells a story in an ancient Joseon Period setting. Starring Korean actor Ju Ji-Hoon (as the royal crown prince), he is in search for his father’s medical condition, that lead to serious zombie apocalypse. This suicide mission aims to investigate a gruesome plague spreading inside the kingdom — only to find zombies threatening his reign and his people.

This is part of LG Electronics Philippines 30th Anniversary initiative and promotion of their new LG OLED B8 4K TV. LG had a preview screening of this Netflix original series at the Korean Cultural Center as their partner venue.

To honor the two countries’ thriving relationship and strengthen KCC’s mission to “deepen the understanding and appreciation of Korean culture among Filipinos by providing diverse cultural programs and events”, LG Philippines, being a Korean company with principal headquarters in Seoul, South Korea has donated five 55-inch UHD 4K TVs (four 55UK6300 and one 55UK6500) to the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines.
