Have you experienced being in a graduation ceremony or a send-off celebration where people speak their words of affirmation and congratulate you for your achievements? Well last October 8 at NBA Cafe, we witnessed both celebration and inspirational send-off party. As Alaska Milk Corporation and Jr. NBA & Jr. WNBA invited us to the Send-off Party for the Philippine Jr. NBA, Jr. WNBA All-Star Team with the Coaches of the Year.
As you remembered, Alaska Milk Corporation together with Jr. NBA put up a basketball clinic from 100,000 kids age ranges from 10 to 14 years old came from different parts of the Philippines. These basketball kids dedicated their all from numerous training camps, all their way to this moment where only top 10 boys and top 5 girls will win a chance of a lifetime to be a Jr. NBA/ Jr. WNBA All-Star Cast. After all those training and persistent determination, Alaska and Jr. NBA had finally picked their best players and coaches that will represent the country for a All-star Experience trip at Shenzhen, China started from October 9 to October 12.

The Jr. NBA Philippine Team will be going to meet with other Jr.NBA/Jr.WNBA delegates from other Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia and stay at Dongguan Hotel. Their trip comprises of jam-packed fun-filled trip around Dongguan Zoo, Dongguan Central Square, NBA Dongguan School and Shenzhen Window of the World. They will be also having action-packed activities like watching the battle between Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers at the NBA Global Games in Shenzhen. Now talk about a trip of a lifetime! Their once in a lifetime trip are scheduled to these line of activities (which subject to change,pending confirmation of schedules for Commissioner Silver, NBA Legend(s) and Jr. NBA Advisory Council).
Congrats once again for this year’s JR. NBA, Jr. WNBA All-Star Philippine Team and the Coaches of the year for this achievements. Surely, this stepping stone can put them to greater heights of both of their basketball and life career.
