Marriott Hotel Manila is always ahead of its game as seen on how they take care of their stakeholders – clients, media and partners. Every year they throw one of their signature events, Halloween costume party, to kick-off their Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW). Going with the theme of “Unrivaled Experiences, Made Together”, the spooky party this year was another night to remember for its eerie and lavish spread, set up and surprises for everyone.
It was a White Night of Fright with guests dressed in any fun and freaky white costumes. Diplomatic Hall of the Marriott Grand Ballroom was flocked by business executives, media personalities, Manila’s high society, celebrities and other VIPs.
Manila’s top DJ Mars Miranda had everyone on their feet with a haunted party music. Enchanting ladies came in to giveaway thrilling surprises, celebrity host Ruffa Gutierrez and Director of Marketing Communications Michelle Garcia. Four ghoulish standouts were awarded overnight stays in Marriott’s new West Wing. While 20 other guests came home with a box of Ghoul’s Graveyard Brownies after winning the mystery game.
Everyone surely came home satisfied and filled from the sumptuous foods that are spooky at first sight. Creeping around were bloodless potato chips, charcoal cracklings with shrimps, and triple burned spicy chicken samosa. On the big witch’s pan is black paella with spicy calamari and longganisa.
Sustainable selva shrimps and slow roasted Australian stockyard striploin got into their black side. Wicked desserts were a hit because of its adorable designs such as devil’s mousse, mummy lollicakes, ghost cookies and monster cakes. Overflowing “poisons” were wines from Emperador Distillers and special mixes from Marriott’s award-winning bartenders.
This is just the opening of their week-long celebration for their customers that will continue on November 6 to 10. Other activities include executive sales calls, special viewing of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Spirit to Serve outreach program. There’s really no doubt as to how Marriott prioritizes its clients – truly brilliant.
