Women in the arts in the Philippines have evolved through the generations, conveying a distinctive and strong message of hope and resilience. Through the expressions of art, women were able to showcase their stories and provide comfort and optimism in a digital world full of artificial intelligence and fake news.

That’s why on it’s third year, Sining Filipina invites all aspiring women artists to take part in this empowering art competition and be part of a movement that uplifts women, honors talent, and champions meaningful art. The competition welcomes original works from Filipina artists across the country, with a submission
deadline of January 25, 2026.

One Passion — Join the 3rd Art Revolution
Centered on the theme “Babae Para sa Bayan: Women Leading Change from Home to Nation,” the initiative, presented by BDO and SM Supermalls, remains committed to highlighting the distinct talents, perspectives, and stories of women through diverse media, styles, and creative expressions. Sining Filipina is for the benefit of Zonta Club of Makati & Environs Foundation, Inc., the most proactive women’s group in the Philippines, aimed to empower communities through their programs, such as medical and dental missions, entrepreneur workshops, and education.

The partnership with SM Supermalls continues to empower the advocacy they already have for women and local creativity, while the competition emphasizes how art can empower communities and drive positivity. The Sining Filipina 2026 edition is supported by Fersal Hotel, HWRU, and Airspeed.
