Christian Matters: #ArmyofHealers Rising UP at Healing Conference 2016

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be HEALED. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

“Do you want to be well?” (John 5:5-7) Jesus asked the man who is sick for 38 years. And despite his desperation to receive healing, hesitation sinks deep and didn’t realize that Jesus wants to heal him. As believers, we sometimes have the same problem similar to the sick man. We know that Jesus can heal us but we don’t have the audacity to claim it heartily. And we believers often see our faith as a “survival weapon” for our daily living. But Jesus wants us to have powerful lives, to do signs and wonders in His name and proclaim that even in this generation, extraordinary healing can happen.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” – 1 Peter 2:24

The Philippines is considered as a “Christian Capital Country” in Asia and despite that, many of our Filipino people are not yet sold out to the truths and power that only the Bible can give. It’s easy to say that we believe in miracles and healing, but practicing it and claiming it in Jesus’ name is another story. In this present generation, how can you claim healing for your sick relatives? and how about you, how can you be an INSTRUMENT for the Lord to bring healing?

That’s why last July 30, “Church So Blessed Ministries” called the believers of Christ from different Churches and Ministries to come be equipped to become #ArmyOfHealers in a Healing Conference 2016 at Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City. Led by their Senior Pastor Hiram Paningilan and other pastor speakers, every believer inside the astrodome was equipped, imparted and filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit to bring healing and deliverance for everyone who in need.

The event was started with an electrifying, powerful praise and worship. Together with some friends from the body of Christ, the excitement and hunger of the people towards worship was so tangible, surrendered their lives to Jesus as we sink deeper to the worship. 

The 8-sessions workshop and equipping about healing was anointed and founded from scriptures (that makes it more reliable and trustworthy). It was clearly presented and effectively by the speakers (with the twist of humor and stories). The anointing power of the Holy Spirit was filled in every believer and I was just amazed by what I saw and witnessed.

More than an equipping session, I witnessed people received healing from ordinary believers (not pastors) and declared healing to each other. People are getting out of their wheelchairs, sickness and diseases are instantly removed from people’s body and victory was claimed in Jesus’ name. I realized that these gifts are not limited to the pastors and neither to the only chosen people. I was also one of the people who can testify through this power. Some people I prayed for healing after the conference was healed and I was amazed that even though I’m not a pastor nor a missionary, I can still pray and declare healing in Jesus’ name.

Just in, few days after the conference, more and more people are experiencing miracles upon miracles because God is in the midst of them and He is the ONE who empowered His people to minister healing for people. Many things have spoken to me and more than just receiving the gift, the intimacy I have with the Lord became stronger and powerful. And you don’t need to be religious and do a lot of rituals to have it. “JESUS PERIOD!”: that is your key and He alone can bring more than just salvation 

So going back to the question: “Do you want to be well?” and “do you want to be used by God to declare healing for His people?” be part of the #ArmyofHealers and believe that YOU TOO can do miraculous healing for His glory, for His name. Let the ARMY OF HEALERS RISE UP!
